If I offended anyone on the looney religious right-wing, tough shit. I think there are some parallels between the two. To never compare anyone or anything ever again to Hitler and/or the NAZI's is naive and stupid.
This strikes me as similar to how people used to claim that the Holocaust didn't happen that it was some kind of loony myth that the left and Jews made up. Of course this is an inverse of that, but the denial of a very real situation is entirely there.
