Fundraising reports are due in today, and none of the results are really that surprising. The Statesman has the numbers:
- Perry: raised $4.7m since January; $10m on hand.
- Bell: raised $1.63m since January; $655,000 on hand.
- Friedman: raised $1.55m since January; $491,000 on hand.
The Statesman article doesn't have Strayhorn's figures, but Quorum Report does:
- Strayhorn: raised $3.1m since January; $8.08m on hand.
Yeah ... let's all donate money to a candidate who has proved that 1) she can
get her name in the paper next to Bell's, 2) she
enjoys spitting in Perry's direction, and 3) her name is
Grandma, dammit!
Trial lawyers? Do they need a grandma? I don't claim her and I'm ashamed of Ben Barnes, Tony Sanchez, and the rest of the Democrats who were only bullshitting about their values.
