And next from the Department of the Obvious: It gets hot in the summer!
A judge ruled that the raid on Louisiana Rep. William Jefferson was legal and good and all that's right with the system. While members of congress used the 'intimidation of elected officials' as a defense for their outrage, I don't think this falls under that category. Sure, the FBI can't raid your office and threaten you with jail if you don't get on Fox News and say we found WMD's in Iraq. But, if you have hundreds of thousands of dollars in CASH MONEY in your freezer at home...yeah...raiding your office is ok.
Can y'all believe the stupidity of the people in Washington, D.C.? I mean, as a whole, they entire area seems to be filled with complete lack of any ethics or sense at all. Or is it just a "let's run this thing until we get caught" mentality. Seriously...fill me in.
I'm so glad to know that Freezer Boy can't pull a fast one in this case.
I am glad to see you guys not standing behind this man.
Corruption is wrong, no matter which party.
