Vicente Fox has changed his mind about signing a bill legalizing drugs. He is sending the bill back to the Mexican congress and wants to "make it absolutely clear in our country, the possession of drugs and their consumption are, and will continue to be, a criminal offense."

So if you had that short trip to the border planned to pick up "some essentials", well, they won't be as easy to find as you expected. Sorry!
