Clinton > Bush

So says a new poll released by CNN on Friday. Not that I didn't know that anyway.

The poll asked 1,021 Americans whether Bush or Clinton has done/did a better job on the economy, solving the problems of ordinary Americans, and eating pretzels without passing out. Not surprisingly, Clinton came out ahead on everything.

Respondents favored Clinton by greater than 2-to-1 margins when asked who did a better job at handling the economy (63 percent Clinton, 26 percent Bush) and solving the problems of ordinary Americans (62 percent Clinton, 25 percent Bush).

On foreign affairs, the margin was 56 percent to 32 percent in Clinton's favor; on taxes, it was 51 percent to 35 percent for Clinton; and on handling natural disasters, it was 51 percent to 30 percent, also favoring Clinton.

Moreover, 59 percent said Bush has done more to divide the country, while only 27 percent said Clinton had.

Regarding honesty, it was a little closer, with Clinton up 46 to 41. National security had Clinton up 46 to 43. Bush, however, did win in the number of bumper stickers created to dishonor his presidency, 73 to 27. Go Bushie.

Bush leaves with respect.

Clinton left without respect.

Gee--and I thought crack use had declined! Apparently not.

This just tells you how absolutely fucked up this administration is. People wanted to HANG Clinton when he left office they hated him so much. Now, in retrospect, everybody's going, "Oh well..he wasn't that bad!" HAHAHA, Classic. LOVES IT.

I thought the point of the poll WAS respect--respect for handling the economy, for foreign policy, for telling the truth, etc. And the numbers say Bush will be leaving the office without much.

I guess someone has to speak up for the minority of Americans (29%) who still respect Bush.

I was thinking the other day how much better a president Bush the Elder was. He understood diplomacy. He actually had a foreign policy. He thinks Rumsfield is an idiot. (He's probably in the 71% who think the country is headed in the wrong direction.)

RoT:
Is that a prediction? Cuz he's got a way to go yet, and right now, Bush isn't very well respected by most of the American populace.

Even other conservatives are starting to have doubt about this guy. But not you? Still ready to follow this lifelong failure over a cliff?

RoT : not gettin' any?

I will never understand why people got so damn pissed about that blowjob.
