They are going to attack you

Remember the memo I posted yesterday? It's flying around the Capitol and is warning legislators that voting for taxes, even procedural votes will surely leave them open to attack in the November elections. People are not giving up without a fight and some folks should probably be scared straight to see these direct mail pieces that were so effective the last go-around.

hmmmm, the names are scratched out on some pieces, but not on others. What gives?

QTinDallas at April 21, 2006 3:09 PM

Dunno. That's just how I got them.

Pinkdome at April 21, 2006 3:16 PM

Well, do you know what name is under the scratch out? And if so, do you plan on telling us?

QTinDallas at April 21, 2006 3:51 PM

No I don't know.

Looks like the second one is Betty Brown.

This is the scariest work they could come up with?

I received the same set of flyers.

I think the scare tacticts will work on legislators.

Dirty politics, but it works.

Well, the one targetting Madla was right on.

As far as "dirty politics", give me a break. I call it dirty when the attack-issue has more to do with legislatively meaningless innuendo, the libido, or the sexual and/or religious orientation of someone than the voting record. Attacking over voting records or origin of donations is fair game in my book. I have no qualms about running an opponent's name through the muck over those issues, and I love working for a candidate who isn't too squeemish to do so.
