Once again, the idiocy of Tyler is brought to my attention.

One teacher was fired and four others resigned after Tyler ISD officials learned they performed an "inappropriate and culturally insensitive" skit that mocked teachers and students at another school during a staff awards ceremony.

Ok, so let's say you are a bigot and/or a racist (are those mutually exclusive? I just don't know.) and you are a public school teacher. So, at what point, do you think it is ok to get up in front of what is most likely a diverse crowd and 'perform' a skit that has you mocking stereotypes?

I'm no Politically Correct Police...D'er, if you have ever read one post here you know that. But, how retarded are you to stand up in front of a crowd and show your ignorant ass?

God, leave that to do with your close friends for Chrissakes. For example, when I want to make a racially insensitive remark I always look both ways and then carefully whisper into my associates ear. If they do not immediately laugh or perhaps look at me in a disapproving way, I am very quick to slap them on the shoulder and say loudly, "Just kidding, can you believe some people really think like that?"
