Where is this ok?

Operation Rescue is sending out press releases saying it is time for Supreme Court Justice John Paul Stevens to retire. They say:

"Justice Stevens, with all due respect, now is the time to move on and allow this Republican president to appoint your successor," said Operation Rescue President Troy Newman. "Our nation is weary of your brand of judicial activism that has cost the lives of over 47 million innocent children. For the good of the nation, please announce your retirement as soon as possible."

This reminds me of a story. My grandmother was an executive at Russell Corp. in Alexander City, Alabama. She worked there until she was about 68 or so. Her division made all the SEC football jersies and one day she was walking the floor as she called it to talk with her 'ladies'. One of her employees shouted at her, "Hey old lady, shouldn't you be retired?" and my grandmother, a Baptist that had never uttered a swear word or had but just one sip of champagne in her life at my brother's wedding turned to her and said, "Kiss my ass."

Surely, a perfect moment for her to break her vow of no swear words. A story we thought we'd relate for the benefit of Justice Stevens today.

Hold it a fuckin' minute. These are the same people who don't want to pay for children's health care and education and shit, right?

"Sure, you gotta have the kid, but we're not going to help you out if you can't afford, to, you know, EAT. Slut, here's your scarlet letter. Wear it everywhere. But, don't come around our church, sniffing around for charity..."
