While there may not be any conspiracy theories popping up about Dick Cheney shooting his friend in the face, there certainly has not been a lack of pointed humor. Including this gem of a song, "Cheney's Got A Gun" from Seattle station Bob Rivers Show.

Other than the fact that this is just a little bizarre, the story behind it is a.) the national media is super pissed that the Corpus Christi Caller-Times got a scoop. (Way to go Caller!) and b.) the fact that Tricky Dick No. 2 here thinks it's ok to just tell people he shot someone when he feels like it.

By the way, can we just say how we've enjoyed saying, "The vice president shot someone in the face" for the simple fact that it doesn't get any less shocking the more times we say it out loud. This poor Whittington fella.We're pleased to hear he is getting better, but for that dumbass Armstrong woman to say this would probably make the two even better friends is hilarious. If you shot me, I probably wouldn't be inviting you over for dinner and drinks anytime in the foreseeable future. I'd probably get better and kick your ass. Just sayin is all.
