Representative Senfronia Thompson spoke Sunday at the South steps of the Capitol in opposition to Prop. 2 on the ballots Tuesday. Rep. Thompson is one of those speakers that is not afraid to call out bigotry when she sees it and criticizes those in the legislature that spent time on items such as HJR 6 instead of public education, health care and fair wages for Texans. The crowd let out a laugh when she said, "What we really need is a constitutional amendment against bigotry, that's something we really need."
