According to the Texas Observer and the DMN the DPS is screaming like a stuck pig about having to release the videotapes of the meetings to track down the Dems that fled the state during the redistricting fiasco about school vouchers.
The DPS claims it jeopardizes security at the Capitol. Really we think they don't want us to see the big orgy and silver trays full of cocaine and booze that line the hallways.

From Marie's twin, Evian: No one's allowed in the back hallway while they are on the Floor. Especially those Steve Spencer types. Did the "alleged" strong-armimg/titty-twisting/angry finger wagging happen while they were on the floor?
Hell I've been in the back hallway when they've been on the floor, & I barely know anybody...I think having Craddick et al escort you back there can get the House Sergeants to back off a bit.
It was pretty much public knowledge that James Leininger was in the Speaker's room in the back during the first (or was it the second?) special at the time of the voucher vote. They are probably looking for films of him.
I don't think that article was about redistricting; it seems to be about school vouchers.
