In today's SA Express-News poll, you can vote for who you'd elect for Gov if elections were held today. Kinky's results are a little old, but as of 2:58pm, he's a-winnin'. Chris Bell's coming up second, and "someone else" is in last place.
Amazing how Texans seem eager to abandon the Republican Party.
Can someone put together an official list of "someone else." Besides John Sharp, who else is stil considering running? Roy Spence? Kay Bailey? Can we get a rumor-list, or something?
And should Democrats even try running someone against Bell? Why not let him go it alone. If he wins, awesome. If not, then Democrats can spend their money taking some more of the House, where all the real law-making goes on anyway. If the House could defy Perry this last year on education and taxes, a more balanced House may even do something worthwhile.

ugh, checked the poll at 3:51 - kinky's still in the lead with 30%. bell, perry and strayhorn are all at least ten pts back with less than a couple points seperating 'em.
