Did you hear? Hell, everybody heard.

All the bloggers get the same tips when someone wants to get a word out.

Here it is:
"high level sources at the TDP tell us" prominent Galveston attorney and former Galveston County Democratic Chair Tony Buzbee is moving closer to running for Lieutenant Governor in 2006.

An Aggie Dem? What the heck is going on in College Station? Next thing you know there will be an A&M chapter of the National Gay and Lesbian Task Force! I mean that's just wrong. I don't like letting go of my dearly held prejudices.

Okay, so a Dem candidate for LtGov is all well and good, but when are we going to get either a) some publicity for Bell or b) someone people actually recognize running for the Governor's office?

Don't Mess W/ Pink:

You obviously haven't been to an Aggie Dem meeting lately- 300 or so strong last time I checked.

Giving UT Dems a run for their money.

Dewhurst can be beat. And in case everyone forget Texas Government 101, a real Lt. Governor is not a Lite Governor in Texas.

Now, if we can only get everyone of those pictures published in Texas Monthly of Buzbee smoking a cigar, standing by a classic car, in a designer suit and looking like the biggest, most arrogant trial lawyer of all time, he'll have a chance. Note to Buzbee, everyone knows you are a trial lawyer, please do not overdue the stereotype.

Cincinnatus, I humbly stand corrected. Good for you!

Edmonton dominated the Carolina Hurricanes on Saturday night and the 4-0 margin in Game 6 makes it hard to imagine the Oilers not hoisting hockey's Holy Grail above their heads in less than 48 hours. And it would not come as any shock to see defenseman Chris Pronger, who had another 31-minute night, take the honors for the Conn Smythe Trophy as the playoff MVP.
