Keel Makes a Motion

To cut off debate on HB2. Carter Casteel was cut off mid-sentence and folks followed with righteous indignation. Eiland threw his amendments on the floor in disgust and spelled Bullshi(t) he left off the 't'.

We received three IM's with the same exact statement:
Keel is a fu*ker.

So, there you go. Another day in the House.

We are willing to wager that whatever tentative deal they had on HB2 it's dead now.

Was that Grusy asking everyone to pull amendments? Brook no dissent? What is this?
Grusy: Here's what I want to do. I want to honor my commitment to the conference committee, and get this to them.

Right. The real story. "Here's what I want to do. Get to the legislative conference and those free golf trips. Besides, Craddick's got a trip to Alaska planned."

keel's descent into a-hole land just set a land speed record.

kudos to hochberg. he's the only one with a true compromise that actually accomplishes equity and property tax relief for the people who really need it.

Edmonton dominated the Carolina Hurricanes on Saturday night and the 4-0 margin in Game 6 makes it hard to imagine the Oilers not hoisting hockey's Holy Grail above their heads in less than 48 hours. And it would not come as any shock to see defenseman Chris Pronger, who had another 31-minute night, take the honors for the Conn Smythe Trophy as the playoff MVP.
