Have You Seen This Man?

Today the House will give HB 3 the Third Reading. Word is Eiland has been persuaded to glue his ass to his desk for the vote, but Rep. Edwards has been instructed to be far away from the House Chamber.

PinkDome is initiating an "Al Edwards Watch" and call upon our readers in the Capitol to keep your eyes peeled for the elusive representative. If you spot him ducking out of the Chamber, don't tackle him but shame him back to his post. Then, send us an email about it.

You may also call his office directly if you so desire. Would hate for him to miss out on the vote that's, you know, the whole reason for the Special Session. We're keeping this post at the top of the page throughout Thursday, so scroll below for new entries during the day.

Don't forget Trey Martinez Fischer. He also failed to vote yesterday. Does anybody know why? HB 3 is a terrible bill and obviously every vote will matter. Some sort of explanation would seem to be in order.

Edwards is on the floor. Martinez Fisher is tied up in some court case or other, but Republican Vicki Truitt is apparently not present either.

Trey is vacationing in Spain and didn't tell anybody he wasn't going to be here this week. As late as last night, his staffers were saying he was "out of town" but would not say whether or not he would be on the floor today.
