I know PD is disappointed at not being able to post these, but as PD's out of pocket, the task was passed on to me. So here you go. . .
Worst Dressed Female: Rep. Suzanna Hupp, hands down. She was also nominated for "The Softer Side of Sears" and "Stuck in the 1980's".
Tie for second: Rep. Riddle and Rep. Chavez. Here's Chavez rockin' her leather out:

Worst Dressed Male: Tie between Rep. Dunnam and Rep. "Island" Eiland ("Yellow linen jacket with jeans and sandals. I suppose it works for those islanders.")
Second place: The press corps - "Gentlemen, some of you could qualify as â??hotâ?? with a better fitting jacket and a decent tie. Maybe Mark Strama will take you shopping."
Best Dressed Female: Rep. Dawnna Dukes wins this category. We can always hope her style will rub off on some of the other females under the pinkdome.
Best Dressed Male: Rep. Rafael Anchia. We are glad he is doing well and hope he and his fashion sense will continue to represent on the House floor.
Second: Rep. Mark Strama. *sigh*
Best ties: Rep. Charlie Geren.
Worst ties: Rep. "Doc" Anderson - "I've never seen anyone rock a novelty tie like Charles "Doc" Anderson. Doc Anderson always dresses like a total moron." Yikes!
Let us know what you think. Agree or disagree?
Hupp really has potential - PLEASE someone call the show "What Not To Wear!!"
Hupp looks really good today.
I completely agree about Rep. Anchia. He definitely wins the most-beautiful-male-representative award. AND, he's nice and charming to boot.
Not only does anderson rock horrible ties, but if you have ever noticed, he does not button the top button. Also, the dress shirts are straight out of the late 70's and early 80's
Grube is right about Doc's top button. I don't think his top button is even buttoned in his official House headshot on the House website.
Also, Doc's suits are always a few sizes too small.
Can we nominate the Chief Clerk as best dressed?
Dave Michaels of the Dallas Morning News dresses very, very well. He should not be lumped in with his wrinkled brethren.
his "wrinkled brethren"? LOVE IT.
Eiland is a great dresser although I am not a fan of his yellow jacket either.
After the Lege has adjourned next week, I shall miss Rep. Castro and his supa-fly reddish-orange crushed velvet jacket the most.
Darn, I had my list all made, but last night's SB1863 debate wore me out...here are a few suggestions for awards, although Ms. Hupp still wins by a landslide.
1) Senator Zaffirini-Hey Judy, what are you thinking--it's 95 degress outside, enough with the turtlenecks already!
2) Rep. Fred Brown, Most Likely to Be Mistaken for a Television Anchor
3) Rep. "Tuffy" Hamilton: Tuffy, honey, you can buy extra long ties so it doesn't look like you're wearing your 5-year old son's tie.
4) and finally Suzanna...those flowered jackets and mall bangs just have to go, while you're at it please lose the white pumps, especially in January and February.
Turtlenecks seems to be popular...(see Rep. Riddle today)
Representative Chavez is by no means one of the worst dressed, she is rockin the biker fashions; and on the floor she has a great mix of business and fun!
At least we are not talking about former Rep. Renato Cuellar versus Sen. Buster Browns hair.
Geren also has the best boots. Sid Miller the most needed rehat measurement. Rep. Crownover always looks great, and Lon Burnam better buy boots, he will be on Agriculture forever.
Dave Micahels is ALWAYS the best dressed man @ the capitol.
and let's not lump the female members of the press corps in with the "wrinkled brethren"?? april, karen, brandi and lomi are always stylin.
Wouldn't think of it, Stephen F! The listing is distinctly and purposely in the male category. The press women are always major cool dressers!
mr dutton is looking might dapper this evening

Great choices all around, though Norma seems way more stylin' than Debbie "I'm Austin Powers, baby, YEAH!" Riddle.
