Best and Worst Dressed: Nominate!

Ok, it's time for us to judge on the really important matters of the session. Who are the best and worst dressed elected officials this session.glamourshot.jpg We know they don't all have the fashion stylings of a Martha Wong or the uptight yet screaming for acceptance of Rep. Bohac, but there are some cool customers and some fashion disasters. Send us your nominations and we'll post great photoshopped photos of the winners next Monday. You can email your noms to us at Tips@pinkdome.com with the subject: Fashion.

We'll take the top five men and women vote-getters, and maybe we'll have a few categories. You suggest? How about "Best use of Novelty Tie," or "Most Likely To Be Into S&M," or our possible favorite, "Obviously Seen The Softer Side of Sears."

Bonus points for phone cam photos emailed to us.

It's so lame to comment on your own post, but I'm ok with that. The photos y'all are sending are already hilarious. Keep 'em coming! Hilarity will ensue.

Lamest Attempt By An East Texas Legislator To Look Like A City Slicker: My Daily Purple

Tommy Merritt at May 18, 2005 10:34 AM

How about best UNdressed lawmaker of the session? My vote goes to Ray Allen, last year's "Chrsitian of the Year," who last week was caught by law officers in the Capitol while getting cozy with his girlfriend (who also happens to be his committee clerk and is rumored to be 'with child' -- his).

Oh, Sarah! at May 18, 2005 4:10 PM

A year ago, 55-year-old Ray Allen was proudly picking up his "Christian of the Year" award from the Texas Christian Coalition during the GOP's state convention in San Antonio.

A year later, his wife has divorced him and he has moved out of the district he represents to live in Austin with a young woman who is half his age and is not only his employee but now pregnant with his child.

What a difference a year makes.

Who was the young woman he was living with?
